WE WOULD ASK ALL MEMBERS AND VISITORS TO HAVE A LOOK AT THE Notices Restricted Areas AND Spinning Restrictions PAGES BFORE FISHING,WE ALSO ADVICE ON SUITABLE EYE PROTECTION AND SOME KIND OF LIFE PRESERVE.
We offer Migratory, Trout and Coarse permits on a Day and Season ticket basis for 8 miles of double bank fishing in the lower Clyde from Bothwell bridge to Dalmarnock bridge – where industry once ruled the river but is now a healthy and fertile home to over 33 species of fish, including its famed Brown Trout and more recently a resurgent Salmon population.
We now have an established but fragile spring run so enjoy a spring days fishing on Mid Clyde but as this season once again we are Category 3 ALL fish must be returned.
You can fish by any legal method (except Prawn bait)
Our Waters are split into 2 beats, the Carmyle Water and Crown Water ,the Crown Water is leased whereas the Carmyle Water ,2 miles of single right bank from the Bloody burn to the Battle burn is owned by Mid Clyde Angling Association.
