To All Anglers
Any angler fishing or casting above the red marks on the feet of the David Livingston Bridge will not be approached but will be photographed and or video’d and will be sent a letter by recorded post and asked to attend the nearest committee meeting to explain their actions and could be in danger of loosing their permit and future permits.
Once again we need to remind anglers of this.
The parking of vehicles in the car park at the Flats at the bottom of Station Road Blantyre is not permitted and will not be tolerated as this is as everyone knows or should know by now is a private car park for residents only.
Parking there endangers your vehicle getting uplifted with an up to £300 release .
Stay out this car park.

Please be aware all MCAA bailiffs will be wearing body cameras when out on patrols.
We would ask ALL MEMBERS to note that ALL SALMON taken from the river Must be tagged whither it is suspected to be a farmed fish or not.
Spinning for Brown Trout is not allowed.
We would ask ALL anglers to tidy up after themselves and not leave any litter or fishing tackle lying about the banks.

DO NOT GO INTO THE WATER OR CAST ABOVE THESE MARKS.YOUR PERMIT IS AT STAKE.

If ANYONE is caught with their vehicle parked in these spaces they will not be issued with a permit the following season.

We have been informed that there is still some parking issues at the Blantyre Weir.The parking spaces at the flats on the bottom side of the bridge is for residents only.
MCAA ask ALL members and visitors to respect the residents and their parking and NOT to park their vehicles in these RESIDENTS spaces.
We only have access to the river and not the car park at the flats.
